Course reviews

I want to leave my feedback on the QA automation at Silicon Valley course under the leadership of Sergey Efremov.
For many years I worked as a teacher and relatively recently became interested in the IT field. I entered the local college as a developer. Despite the fact that over the year she tightened her English well and took the basics, the feeling that knowledge was given was purely theoretical. It was little understood how to apply this knowledge in practice.
I came to the courses in the hope of gaining practical skills and understanding the local labor market directly from a working specialist.
My expectations were fully justified. Sergey is not only highly qualified, but also has the gift of explaining complex things freely.
Despite the fact that I was not familiar with testing before, now there is a clear understanding of this specialty and the ways of further development in it. The course material is very rich and informative, but due to the fact that it is well structured and served consistently, even a beginner can easily navigate it. Of course you have to spend a lot of time and show zeal, but it's worth it. I would advise you to be prepared to devote 3-4 hours a day to doing homework for your studies, if you have no previous experience.
I want to express special thanks for the moral support and positiveness that permeates every lesson.
Already in the middle of the course we made a resume and I began to apply for vacancies. The first letters and calls of recruiters began. A few weeks later I was invited to the first zoom interview, and after 10 days, I was invited to the second. True, in connection with the quarantine situation, he was postponed to the end of April. It's time to consolidate the knowledge gained in practice.
If you have a firm intention to master the profession of QA Automation Engineer, then this course is a great solution!

There is everything on the Internet ... But, as a person who was not familiar with testing before, it was quite difficult to find the necessary information in the vast space of the Internet. And also, having worked in education for more than 15 years, I realized that in addition to information sources, a person who correctly conveys this information is very important.
And having got on the course at QASV.US, I seemed to find myself in an open lesson, which was given by a teacher who defeated his rivals by a huge margin in the "Teacher of the Year" competition. And yes, that's true. Sergey taught his lessons with such intensity, such enthusiasm that there was no doubt that we could all.
The presentation of the material was from scratch (which was relevant for me, as a beginner) to gradually deepen, but, thanks to the competent planning of the material, it was absolutely not felt.
And, only at the end of the course came the realization how much we needed. It was learned, but not completed: all the lessons were accompanied by clear and step-by-step homework, which was carried out, checked and corrected.
And, as a result, at the end of the course I have a working resume, on which I receive feedback from recruiters. Well, then everything depends on me. Thanks a lot QASV.US

Thank you so much Sergey for your work. For me, you are personally the best teacher who taught. I also think that you are a very good, open and decent person. I have never met people with such diverse knowledge.
    Thanks.
The certificate is very beautiful, thanks for that too.
  • Serge P
Software QA Automation Engineer at "HP"
    To Sergey Efremov:
Hello Sergey, I attended your class and feel compelled to say that my knowledge in QA definitely improved based on the information that was provided.
The class curriculum was more than enough to have me busy during the whole course. Thank you for taking your time with us and the class to answer questions that were primarily to QA and its methodology.
I would like to thank all the professors that helped us to achieve our goals. I thought that Sergey went in depth with some topics that were even outside the course.
The class was fairly small and there was plenty of time the professor took to go over the material and the problems that were arising during the course.
I would like to reflect on everything that was done to help me and my wife during this class. Big thank you in all the regards!
